Job Description
***Only qualified Agile Master - PMO candidates located near the Greenville, SC area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Qualifications:
• Solid IT background, with a focus on infrastructure lifecycle management and application release management
• Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, and tracking
• Strong customer/stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Required Technical Skills:
• Proven experience with Microsoft Project
Preferred Technical Skills:
• Experience with SQL database migrations
Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Agile Master to lead the technical lifecycle management of our SQL environment. This role is crucial for driving the successful migration of 2,700 databases from SQL 2016 to 2022, a global project initiated in early 2024.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical lifecycle management of SQL, including new versions and releases, and communicate effectively with application owners
• Drive the team and ensure project momentum, particularly for the SQL 2016 to 2022 migration
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines
• Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum processes and ceremonies
• Oversee and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
• Work collaboratively with IT infrastructure and application teams
Additional Details:
• The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with a technical IT background, specifically in infrastructure lifecycle management and application release management
• This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with application owners, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adhere to strict deadlines
• The ability to foster collaboration and maintain an unbiased approach to keep the team on task is essential
