Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years’ Experience.

OR

Masters' Degree and Ten Years’ Experience.

OR

PhD and Eight Years’ Experience.



Mission is to discover, develop, and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As the Associate Director of Field Leadership Sales Training reporting to the Director, Global Sales Excellence Training will lead Field Leadership curriculum creation and execution for the US Sales team, development of field leader competencies and new RD Learning journey. This role will expand the learning journey for new and tenured sales leaders through creation of coaching curriculum, best in class on-boarding for new RD’s and competencies for sales leaders. The primary responsibility will be with US leadership with potential global expansion.

The successful leader will be a dynamic, experienced individual with a strong track record of sales training curriculum development and implementation, sales leadership training, team leadership experience across various settings and topics in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry. They should have the proven ability to manage complex projects effectively, influence stakeholders without authority, effectively network across the organization, and communicate with senior leaders, all within a fast-moving, challenging, and dynamic Commercial environment.



Essential Duties and Job Functions:

• Experience in curriculum development, project management, executive presence, facilitation expertise and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.

• Experience and skills in sales leadership and sales leadership training.

• Clear and Concise written communication.

Work with US (key contributor) and Affiliate Commercial Learning & Development to:

• Develop/enhance Sales Curriculum for first line leaders and complete learning journey.

• Field Leader Competency creation and implementation that supports sales and cross-functional competencies.

• Create and implement New RD learning Journey for the 1st year of onboarding.

• Review the inventory of existing training to determine viability for reuse or adaptation at a global level, with a focus on optimizing/building what drives the most impact at scale.

• Collaborate with US and global stakeholders to define desired performance outcomes and the required behaviors, skills, and knowledge needed by different roles to deliver them.

• Determine content changes required for existing training curricula or work with external vendors to design and build new content.

• Incorporate motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience and maximize learning and retention.

• Assure competencies and corresponding training to achieve competitiveness and operational excellence.

• Demonstrate strong and complex project management.

• Ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout training development, continuously incorporating feedback to ensure relevance and inclusion.

• Demonstrate Leadership without authority.

• Lead by example, respecting core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, excellence, and inclusion.



Preferred Qualifications:

• Poses the ability to establish credibility as an expert in Leadership Training and Development.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling training to large audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to connect and align stakeholders of diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to lead collaborative and creative problem-solving and overcome resistance or barriers.

• Demonstrated excellence in program management, project management, change management, and managing multiple projects/priorities.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
