Job Description
***Only qualified Azure Cloud Engineer candidates located near the Rosemont, IL area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Required Skills:

• Experience with Azure integration services

• Experience with creating Azure resources using Terraform

• Experience with building CICD pipelines

• Bachelor''s degree in development field.

• 7-10 years working experience is required.



Preferred Skills:

• Certification is highly preferred.



Responsibilities:



• Azure Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, etc.

• Infrastructure As Code: Provision, maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure, resources, and services with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Azure DevOps: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments and continuous integration to expand organizations agile posture.

• Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of Azure resources by implementing best practices and monitoring for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues, including infrastructure and application-level problems.

• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and application availability.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, administrators, and developers, to ensure seamless integration of Azure services into our applications.

• Automation: Drive automation using tools such as Ansible,

• Process Facilitation: Serve as liaison to Architecture and Security teams to ensure cloud resources and DevOps pipelines are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, and auditable. Represent the team with regards to Change Management and Change Board activities

• Documentation: Document automation processes and maintain environment diagrams, development standards, and team onboarding documents and checklists.

• Other projects or duties as assigned.
