Job Description
• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.
• Perform equipment installation, PMs, and complete assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.
• Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM''s as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
• Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
• Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
• Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM''s & work history electronically in eMaintenance System.
• Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc.)
• Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.
• Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.
• Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
• Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
• Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift
• Excellent attendance and steady work history

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Robotics and PLC are a priority.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 30lbs.
• Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder

Education Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred)
Experience Required:
• Journeyman’s Card -OR - 3-5 yrs of experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant. Experience in industrial automotive preferred.
Additional Information:
• Ideal candidate has a sense of urgency, fast to trouble shoot and resolve. Possible long term opportunity.
• Manager is seeking a mechanically inclined maintenance tech with manufacturing plant experience. Not seeking a facility manager.
• Ideal candidate must be able to work 8-10 hr shifts, on feet most of the time and be capable of diagnosing, repair and install equipment in a fast paced environment. Must be able to lift 30lb unassisted.
• Be an expert with using hand tools. Strong experience with motors, chains and sprockets required. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
