Job Description
Required Skills:

Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven IT environment at a State government agency or equivalent organizational level.

• Extensive experience working in the business analysis field.

• Ability to learn new applications quickly.



5 year’s experience in the following areas:

• Requirements gathering.

• Communication with business partners.

• Skills in working with tough customers.

• Translation of non-technical requests into technical requirements.

• Translation of technical requests into non-technical requirements.

• Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Ability to identify and define scope and functionalities.

• Familiar with ADO (Azure Dev Ops).

• Familiar with Test cases/test plans.

• Regression testing.

• White box/black box testing.

• 508 / ADA compliance testing – Wave tool.

• Responsive design testing.

• Traceability matrix creation and usage.

• Creating test scripts.

• Ability to teach a team on testing procedures that testing starts through the entire lifecycle.

• Meets legal and company standards with regard to data, applications, etc.

• Basic understanding of project lifecycles / SDLC.

• Knows waterfall and agile methodologies and where/why to use them.

• Deep understanding of documentation of testing processes and creation of testing artifacts.

• Knowledge of acceptance testing methods.



3 year’s experience in the following areas:

• Writing of user stories and ability to assist end users in such.

• Documentation for testing.

• Documentation writing for application specifications.

• Experience within ADO (Azure Dev Ops).

• Knowledge of security testing methods.

• Knowledge of usability testing.

• Knowledge of functional testing methods.

• Basic SQL knowledge for cross-testing.



Additional preferred experience:

• Selenium / Katalon is a plus.

• Back-end development.

• Veracode experience is a plus.

• Basic SQL query experience is a plus.

• Experience in financial applications heavy in complex mathematical calculations.

• Experience in VISIO documenting workflows.
