Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
• 8 years of Business Analyst experience.
• 8 years of SQL experience.
• 8 years of system reporting experience (Oracle, SQL).
• 8 years of systems testing experience (Unit, Integration, UAT).
• 8 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• 8 years of experience in the delivery of complex Java/Oracle applications.
• 5 years of excellent communication skills (verbal and written) (Preferred).
• 2 years of project and/or product management experience (Preferred).
• 2 years of expertise in prioritizing tasks and features to ensure the team focuses on high-value deliverables (Preferred).
• 2 years of experience with Jira (Preferred).
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, capable of working closely with a dynamic development team to ensure successful project outcomes.
Overview:
The Product Owner/Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies. This role involves business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to enhance business effectiveness. The candidate should be familiar with industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering, preparing solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build decisions. The role includes writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Responsibilities:
• Work on a web-based Java/Oracle application used by internal agency staff across several divisions for managing agency contracts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs.
• Gather requirements, perform detailed analysis, and develop requirements and design for system modifications.
• Complete business requirement documents, user stories, and facilitate business area collaboration and coordination.
• Coordinate demos, UAT, code releases, project/product management level planning, and user communication with technical teams.
• Ensure successful on-time delivery by effectively managing and prioritizing tasks.
• Work in an Agile environment, with some on-call support required depending on the project phase. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
