Job Description
***Only qualified Business Analyst candidates located near the Chelsea, MA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience



Required Experience:

• Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in accounting or financial software or a related field

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on providing practical business solutions

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues to a non-technical audience

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment



Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between internal users and the IT team, effectively communicating user needs and technical limitations

• Act as a skilled liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders to extract, gather, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements to bridge the gap between technical feasibility and business objectives

• Gather and document requirements for system enhancements, translating business needs into technical specifications

• Lead user requirement gathering and responding promptly to user requests

• Develop and maintain clear and concise business requirement documents

• Analyze and improve business processes through technology solutions, aiming to reduce manual tasks and enhance user experience

• Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of software updates and new features

• Ensure quality, reliability, and completeness of the services deployed through thorough testing

• Provide ad hoc and project-based reporting, queries, and analysis as required

• Balance multiple initiatives and projects, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting implementation deadlines

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, suggesting improvements for business operations

• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Convey complex product details effortlessly to diverse audiences, fostering clarity and understanding

• Display a keen eye for detail, strategically applying it where necessary to ensure precision and accuracy in all endeavors

• Embrace a critical thinking mindset, unafraid to pose questions and explore uncertain answers, driving continuous improvement and innovation

• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving challenges

• Exhibit curiosity, share solutions and insights collaboratively to benefit the team
