Required Skills:
Communications:
• Communications expertise is more important than data analytics expertise, but candidates must enjoy working with data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including content development
• Experience and understanding of how to design research and create content that journalists and other content creators (e.g. influencers) will want to share with their respective audiences
• Excellent interpersonal and internal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with a variety of internal and external teams and keep complex projects on deadline
• Data visualization and design skills are not essential but would be an advantage
Research:
• Market research, survey design, and simple data analytics expertise
• A great head for numbers, with the ability to quickly synthesize key findings from survey data and other sources.
• More in-depth data analytics skills are not essential but would be an advantage.
Data communications management to client’s Enterprise Suite (CES).
Primary responsibilities and objectives include:
• Building awareness and authority for CES among its key target audiences by developing qualitative and quantitive research that can be used in multi-channel communications and marketing campaigns, including thought
leadership, media interviews, social content, web content, and videos
• Communication experience is essential
• Marketing experience is not essential but would be an advantage
• Supporting top CES priorities by designing effective survey and interview questions that capture new insights which resonate with CES target audiences
• Then analyzing the data to pull out and highlight the key findings for relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of survey design and simple data analytics is essential
• In-depth data analytics or data science experience is not essential
• Working with internal and external teams, as needed, to turn the key research findings into published reports which include visual assets, such as infographics and videos
• Then using appropriate marketing and communications channels to ensure these insights reach CES target audiences through clickable headlines and eye-catching visuals assets
• Supporting the Small Business Index project as needed to achieve project goals
• Developing creative briefs (e.g. for photography and video shoots) and infographics (e.g. charts and callouts) based on the survey results described above, in collaboration with internal and external teams
• Experience of using software/apps to create infographics is not essential but would be an advantage
