Job Description
Job Title: Designer, Conversational AI for natural language IVR

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong background in IVR design, natural language understanding (NLU), and speech interaction design.
• Hands-on experience in conversation design for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Tools: Proficiency in flow design tools and familiarity with speech recognition software and voice interaction design platforms.
• Collaboration: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, business, and UX.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience: Professional experience in UX design, conversational AI design and dialogue design.
• UX Expertise: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including prototyping, wireframing, and user testing.
• Problem-Solving: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to decompose complex challenges and drive innovative, business-aligned solutions.

Nice To Have Experience:
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define the overall UX strategy and goals of a project or product.

Job Overview: The Designer, Conversational AI will play a pivotal role in crafting user-centered conversational experiences that enhance customer interactions via natural language IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems. This role involves gathering business and user requirements, analyzing data, designing call flows, writing clear and engaging dialogues, and tuning the training for the NLU. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in conversational design, UX principles, and an understanding of voice technologies to deliver exceptional, customer-focused self-service solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design: Design and optimize conversational flows that provide a high- quality, consistent customer experience to meet both business objectives and user needs.
• Collaborative Consultation: Partner with business stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and translate them into designs that align with both customer needs and organizational goals.
• User-Centered Design: Create engaging, intuitive voice experiences by defining user flows that drive exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Conversational Dialogue: Write clear, natural-sounding dialogues that
align with brand voice and customer expectations, while anticipating user responses to ensure smooth interactions.
• Testing s Optimization: Participate in testing and data analysis to assess the performance of conversational flows. Use findings to refine interactions, improve user experience, and drive continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and seamless execution.
• Usability s Performance Monitoring: Analyze usage data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights, optimize designs, and ensure the effectiveness of the experience.

What You'll Do:
• Lead the development of conversational AI designs that balance business needs, user needs, and technical feasibility.
• Make data-driven decisions through the analysis of performance metrics, optimizing call flow and user interactions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications, ensuring high-quality design documentation and clear communication.
