Job Description


Education:

• Juris Doctor



License Requirement:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of auto/liability insurance defense experience (personal injury experience would also be considered)

• Prior experience handling complex civil litigation matters

• Solid client relations skills

• Ability to learn and use multiple electronic file management system



Job duties:

• Conduct necessary and appropriate discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and similar proceedings

• Research the law applicable to cases or matters; draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs and opinions as required

• If requested, conduct settlement negotiations
