***Only qualified Cost Analyst candidates who are local to Atlanta, GA will be considered for this role due to onsite presence required. ***



Education:

• Academic background in Finance is a plus but not required



Qualifications:

• Experience Minimum of 8 years in cost analysis or a related field



Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships

• Solid understanding of financial data, specifically related to labor and materials

• Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other relevant functions



We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Analyst with at least 8 years of experience in cost analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data relating to labor and materials, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a solid business acumen. This position plays a crucial role in supporting senior management by providing insights and analysis to drive financial decision-making



Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth cost analysis to support senior management in decision-making and financial initiatives

• Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying discrepancies and providing recommendations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and provide insights on cost control and reduction strategies

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that outline cost trends, forecasts, and analyses for management review

• Monitor and evaluate financial performance metrics to help implement cost-effective solutions

• Assist in developing and maintaining budgeting and forecasting models
