Job Description
Consultant must be available for onsite work although the primary work location will be Remote.
Required Education:
• Masters Degree in Health Information Technology
Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
• Must have current experience working with the State’s Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program within the last six (6) months as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture federal programs
• Experience in data analysis using SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL queries
• Proficiency with SAS and R programming for analyzing data sets for trends, patterns and anomalies
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs
• Ability to create complex SQL queries
• Ability to develop interactive dashboards or visualizations
• Experience with MS Power BI and/or Tableau
• Experience with GIT, GitHub and JIRA
• Must be able to follow Agile development methodologies
• Provide effective communications and work well with multiple teams and users at various technical levels (novice to advanced)
Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to understand complex business problems
• Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues
• Understanding of quality control process to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations
• Understanding of database platforms and database design
Data Analyst scope of work will include the following:
• Support grant management activities
• Produce data catalogues and reports
• Provide technical assistance to client and school systems with data collection - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
