***Only qualified Data Analyst candidates located near the Chicago, IL area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



This position is for a Data Analyst post in view of RCE initiative.



Experience level: 3 (Senior)



Qualifications (must haves):

• SQL

• Data warehousing

• Data modelling and Design

• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills and be quick to identify design related concerns

• Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate data requirements, design concerns, etc.

• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills while working with developers, architects to solution the data needs.

• Strong in SQL and Data warehouse concepts – Hands on experience working in a data warehouse environment



Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the banking



Additional details:



Need a Data analyst to help with the corporate warehouse project

The foundation of the project is already built, migrating data to Snowflake from legacy.



• Need a Data analyst, skills needed - requirement gathering, documenting data flows, workflows, will handle technical design documents to engineers.

• Should be skilled in Data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

• SQL, Snowflake experience - as the warehouse is in Snowflake

• Snow SQL/ and ETL exp will be handy as it’ll help with understanding data pipelines

• Snowflake

• 7 – 10 Years Overall



• Documentation is done in confluence. Confluence exp is nice to have.

• The project is about decommissioning and creating warehouse/data again - in the Python framework. Python experience is nice to have, but not required.

• Titles: Data analyst/Modeler



• Only ETL developers will not be a fit, need to have Data Modeling/Analysis experience. Prior documenting, detailing work is needed.



Interview - 2 rounds, panel interview





Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Write complex SQLs to analyze/profile datasets and identify patterns

• Recommend solutions based on data analysis

• Provide Data Requirements

• Collaborate with Subject Matter experts and Business partners in gathering data requirements

• Work independently and demonstrate strong understanding of existing Data model and ETL processes

• Experience providing data flow diagram, table structure and ETL specifications including transformation rules required for source to target mapping

• Identify ETL dependencies and help orchestrate a sequence of data loads in the ETL pipeline

• Validate the accuracy, integrity and quality of Data developed

• Support defects triage

• Participate in the SIT, UAT defects triage and help set up a defect resolution path

• Assess defects on their impacts and help set up priorities

• Guide the production support team on unforeseen issues, ETL abends
