Job Description
Required Qualifications and Experience

• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the legal domain.

• Strong knowledge of processes and workflows, and experience with process automation and Contract Lifecycle Management tools, specifically Ironclad.

• Experience with managing the configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Contracting tools, specifically our CLM platform, Ironclad, and provide training and support to end users.

• Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, use cases, user stories, wireframes, etc.

• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Scrum, ADO, etc.



Overview:

• The Law Function is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in legal technology, contracting workflows, and transaction management, with specific focus on Contract Lifecycle Management – specifically Ironclad.

• We are seeking an ambitious and innovative individual who is mission-driven and process-minded.

• The role will work side-by-side with our Transactions Product Manager and Product Owner to optimize our processes and practices and streamline the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of our legal teams.

• In addition, this new role will partner closely with the Law Digital Platform and represent the Law Function’s digital and process requirements for Transactions.



Legal Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current state and future needs of our legal processes and workflows, and propose solutions that align with our strategic goals and best practices.

• Collaborate with legal professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

• Monitor and report on the performance, usage, and compliance of our CLM platform, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

• Conduct research and benchmarking on the latest trends and technologies in legal process automation and CLM solutions, and provide recommendations and best practices.

• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.

• Trusted advisor for system support and process optimization

• Define and drive strategic and operational contracting initiatives together with Transactions team leadership

• Collect and analyze data to identify root cause of process issues and challenges

• Format and deliver accurate data, using programs/reports to enable leadership to make strategic business decisions.

• Develop and document organizational content, practices, and objectives, including for relatively undefined initiatives.

• Develop creative solutions to solve issues or drive continuous improvement.

• Be the point person for all stakeholders (customer, technical team, and PO) to make sure user stories are well understood, so everyone is on the ''same page''.

• Groom backlog and perform other maintenance tasks that are standard to the BAs role within an Agile team.

• Assist in development of year long roadmap for responsible technologies

• Educate business where needed on proper support model processes

• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills.



Interview Process

• MS Teams Interviews, Likely 2 rounds

• 30 minutes for first round, 45 for 2nd round
