Job Description
***Only qualified Copywriter/Editor candidates located near Dallas, TX to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence. ***

Skills & Abilities:
• Writer (Copywriter/Editor) with 5+ years of relevant experience able to work on all channels of client-specific communications.
• 3-5 years’ experience in brand-building or within a creatively oriented Marketing role.
• Native proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. Also, must be able to recognize and articulate the differences in culture, language and/or norms of different types of Hispanic or Latinx people (i.e. Caribbean vs. Spanish vs. Mexican, etc).
• Demonstrated experience in translating materials into Spanish for a wide range of audiences that range from enterprise decision-makers to all types of everyday consumers, with careful consideration to the correct transcreation of cultural cues, regionalisms and colloquialisms in language.
• Experience working directly with Designers, Strategists, Marketing Managers, Creative Agencies and Teams, Project Managers, and Production Teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize, work with competing deadlines, and ability to adapt to change is required.

Job Duties:
• Review creative targeted to Hispanic audiences (in both Spanish & English) through the lens of the vocabulary, expressions, and cultural traditions of Hispanics by country of origin, level of acculturation and regional differences within the U.S.
• Will have the ability to oversee editorial production, determine editorial style for specific clients, and serve as lead point of contact with campaign management, project leads, and creatives.
• Responsible to ensure that all content and materials produced for Client businesses contain correct use of grammar, spelling and a consistent, recognizable style.
• Responsible for the proofreading of all marketing proof cycles in paper format and on screen for printed and electronic documents.
• Proofread bluelines and other production proofs against approved releases as part of review process.
• Effectively manage stakeholder interests across multi-functional integrated teams; in an effort to drive brand building while also driving short-term and long-term business objectives
• The candidate will need to learn the product portfolio and work will the Brand and Legal teams to ensure language is correct.
