Job Description:

• The Documentation and Funding Specialist functions as primary personal contact between sales associates, executives, credit, and customer service personnel on all loan/lease documentation.

• In addition, they serve as secondary contact for vendors and customers for questions in reference to the loan/lease documentation.



• We provide convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology and serves small organizations to Fortune 500 companies with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and direct to businesses nationwide.

• Our finance specialization covers several segments, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, franchise, commercial vehicles, and other markets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares customer document package, ensuring they are executed accurately, efficiently, and completed within established guidelines according to approval terms

• Ensures loan documents are originated in accordance with the bank''s loan policy, department procedures, and in compliance with regulatory guidelines

• Manages assigned documentation queue(s)

• Provides outstanding customer service (during outbound/inbound calls and while responding to voicemails, emails) when necessary, meeting service level agreements, and de-escalating situations

• Requires properly prepared sales quotes/invoices are obtained to ensure correct vendor’s, payee’s and referral sources are funded

• Works under general supervision following established guidelines and procedures for documentation

• Assists with training of new and/or existing associates

• Communicates appropriately and effectively with all levels including management, credit associates, finance associates, and customers

• Coordinates and provides Sales/External Vendor Partners with itemized lists of documentation and credit contingencies needed to close and fund the loan

• Arranges loan in internal all in one financial operating system for booking into lease accounting system

• Provides consistent and timely feedback to management

• Processes and scans all documents into image archive system according to company policies and procedures

• Ensures perfection documentation is in place for UCC filings.

• Stays abreast of high-level laws & requirements for perfecting liens and updating internal processes to align with form requirement changes

• Reviews and maintains vehicle documentation

• Supports Operations Department with miscellaneous tasks as assigned

• Works with technology group to correct issues or improve functionality, including testing of system changes

• Resolves complex issues and identifies process improvement opportunities, and works with management to implement them

• This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.



This position is incentive eligible.



Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• One (1) year of experience in the lease, loan, or mortgage industries



Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree

• Familiarity with account management software systems

• Ability to deal with escalated issues while deriving solutions for resolution

• Ability to structure and price deals using the Tvalue program

• Possesses high level understanding of the flow of title ownership

• Ability to prioritize fluctuating daily functions with poise and professionalism

• Ability to learn additional systems as needed

• Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

• Ability to work in a team environment when applicable

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

• Ability to work in a goal driven and fast-paced environment

• Ability to multi-task and organize
