Job Title: Editorial Contractor – Collectibles (Copywriter)

Location: Runnemede, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months (high possibility of extension)



Job Description:

Client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Editorial Contractor to join our editorial department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of spelling and grammar, thorough knowledge of AP Style, and relevant experience in the collectibles space, particularly with sports and non-sports cards, memorabilia, game-used memorabilia, and signed memorabilia.



Responsibilities:

• Write, research, and edit content related to various collectibles for auction listings, promotional materials, and other related content.

• Ensure all written materials adhere to AP Style guidelines and maintain the highest level of accuracy and quality.

• Collaborate with team members to generate ideas and refine content, ensuring alignment with company standards and market trends.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Stay updated with trends and developments in the collectibles market to produce informed and engaging content.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field; or applicable experience in a similar role.

• Proven experience in writing and editing, preferably within the collectibles industry.

• Strong knowledge of AP Style and excellent command of spelling and grammar.

• Ability to research and verify information efficiently and accurately.

• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
