Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree



Required Skills/Experience:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences effectively.

• 10-12 years of PR and communications experience, with a strong background in either agency-side or in-house communications.

• Passion for travel industry, combined with experience in managing and executing projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Expertise in media relations, with a keen understanding of the media landscape and a knack for identifying and pitching stories that capture attention and drive impact.

• Knowledge of pop culture and emerging consumer trends across press and social media, with a finger on the pulse of what resonates with today’s audiences.

• Proven experience collaborating with and/or managing PR agencies, providing strategic direction and clear guidance to achieve exceptional results.

• Leadership experience, including managing teams, fostering growth, and driving collaboration to meet business objectives.

• Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail, ensuring seamless execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

• A global mindset and a passion for travel, with an understanding of international markets and cross-cultural communication.

• Willingness and ability to travel between key markets and other destinations as needed, often on short notice.



A typical day:

• Lead strategic planning with cross-functional colleagues to align on goals and the key editorial initiatives to pursue.

• Spearhead brainstorming efforts that leverage trending topics, seasonal themes, and data-driven insights to land positive press and social coverage.

• Monitor the latest press coverage, industry news, and competitor activities to understand shifts in consumer behavior, current pop culture trends, and breaking news.

• Review and approve opportunities for newsjacking, focused on strategic trending topics to drive media coverage.

• Craft compelling narratives that integrate Client's key messages to ensure we keep business priorities front and center.

• Lead cross-functional meetings with global internal teams across press and social, as well as meetings with our external PR agency.

• Review and approve materials including pitches, press strategies, newsroom posts, internal recap reports, data one-pagers, and more.

• Work with our data team to mine for and develop new data-led stories that will resonate with press and social audiences.

• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment on the global press strategy, track the progress of specific campaigns, and discuss upcoming opportunities and initiatives



We are hiring an Editorial Press Lead to lead the press strategy for all global editorial initiatives, from trends & seasonality to newsjacking and data-led stories, all with the goal of making Client the most positively talked about brand in the world. You will be responsible for developing innovative strategies that keep in mind the changing media landscape, set Client apart from its competitors, and drive impactful results across press and social.



This is an extremely cross-function role. You will partner closely with our press teams around the globe that are responsible for producing an always-on drumbeat across consumer, product, policy, and more, to show the world why Client is the best way to experience the world.
