Job Description
**Please note training will be done on 1st shift (one to two months) prior to being moved to the 2nd shift. Candidate should have reliable transportation to commute.**





• An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers.



Additional Orientation Details:

• An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers and Solar Inverters.



You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience performing mechanical assembly (build) of product

• 1+ years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring

• Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision

• Experience working with standard hand and power tools both pneumatic and battery operated and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, wire strippers, and accurately read a tape measure.

• Must be a strong team player

• Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.



Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances

• Associates Degree or technical training in area of responsibility



Description:

• For the one Mechanical position we have a need for a candidate that has mechanical assembly experience with material handling (does not need forklift certification). I need a candidate that can organize and help generate healthy product flow through the processes, which would include some installation throughout some of the material movement phases. This position would require someone who is on time and reliable due to short deadlines and promised delivery dates. I really appreciate your patience and time with this as I am trying to ensure I build a strong team with limited support being that it is an off shift.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform sub assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and workmanship

• Strong team player

• Work with large power cables including correct method of crimping connectors

• Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques

• Assemble components on panels per given layout or drawings
