Job Description
***Only qualified Electrician candidates located near Whitakers, NC area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Education:
• College Degree/Technical Equivalent required for this position.
Experience:
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience
Must Haves Skills:
• Robot Troubleshooting
• PLC Experience
• Understanding Prints/Troubleshooting
Additional Skills:
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills (Required)
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance (Required)
• Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models (Typically required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, and bend wired and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment, using hand tools
• Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
