Seeking an "all in one" Instructional Designer/Storyline Developer with a blend of skills in instructional design and technical proficiency in Storyline development. This position is tasked with consulting with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and objectives, designing instructional strategies, and developing interactive eLearning modules using Storyline software. This position requires a unique blend of skills, including being able to apply instructional design principles as well as being able to create content that is educationally sound and visually appealing.





TOPICS OF FOCUS

This position will create a suite of training modules on warranty operations and management, covering topics from basics and documentation to customer service, compliance, technology integration, advanced issues, financials, and legalities. The goal is to provide dealerships with a thorough understanding of warranty processes and standards. Subject matter expertise on these topics is highly preferred.



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and analyze training needs.

• Design and develop engaging instructional materials and courses using Storyline 360.

• Apply instructional design theories and methods to create effective learning experiences.

• Utilize multimedia and technology tools like Articulate Storyline to enhance the learning process.

• Utilize Honda graphics libraries and/or Honda graphics illustrators to create visual content.

• Develop assessments within the training to measure learning outcomes.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in instructional design software, particularly Articulate Storyline.

• Strong understanding of instructional design theories and models, such as ADDIE.

• Ability to write clear and measurable learning objectives.

• Experience in creating visual, audio, and interactive learning modules.

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Ability to operate in a dynamic team environment and be flexible and open to change.

• Communicate effectively, with attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience as an instructional designer and developer (3-5 yrs. of experience).

• Portfolio showcasing previous work and successful instructional programs.

• Two or more years of experience with Articulate Storyline.

• Direct experience with or knowledge of dealership retail operations.



WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Collaborative team setting with a focus on continuous learning and development.

• Hybrid work may be an option after onboarding period, in compliance with division policy.

• Contract duration is estimated up to six months, subject to ongoing project status.
