Job Description
Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience



Required Experience:

• Proven experience as an instructional designer and developer

• Portfolio of previous work and successful instructional programs

• Two or more years of experience with Articulate Storyline



Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline

• Understanding of instructional design theories (e.g., ADDIE)

• Ability to write clear, measurable learning objectives

• Experience in creating visual, audio, and interactive learning modules

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Flexibility and teamwork skills

• Attention to detail and thoroughness



Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dealership retail operations



Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer/Storyline Developer skilled in instructional design and Storyline 360. This role involves converting book-format learning content into interactive eLearning modules that are both educationally sound and visually appealing.



Development Focus:

• Create online training modules for Client’s District Parts and Service Managers (DPSM) to support their job responsibilities.

• Target Audience – DPSM

• DPSMs act as the primary liaison between Company and dealerships, overseeing parts and service activities to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction



Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instructional materials using Storyline 360

• Apply instructional design theories for effective learning experiences

• Use multimedia and technology tools to enhance learning

• Collaborate with graphics illustrators or use graphics libraries

• Develop assessments to ensure content mastery



Work Environment:

• Monday to Friday, typically 40 hours per week; overtime is rare

• Collaborative team setting focused on continuous learning and development

• Contract duration up to six months, subject to project status

• Onsite in Torrance, CA
