Job Description
This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety. Including:
• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties
• Low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning)
• Glassware washing
• Material inventory monitoring support
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations
• High school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience, or B.S./B.A./A.S. ina relevant field
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well-developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
