TOP THINGS LOOKING FOR:

1. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, statistics, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts

2. Knowledge of SAP MRP or other MRP system. MRP = Material Requirement Planning

3. Analytical, organizational, decision making, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the material planning process.

4. Strong Excel knowledge and experience, especially with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, General Formulas, Shortcut Keys







Job Responsibilities

• Oversee demand and supply planning function for a complex and diverse set of materials exceeding 50M in annual throughput.

• Develop material demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.

• Review and release purchase requisitions, initiate stock transfers, and expedite with vendors as needed to meet project start dates.

• Closely coordinate and communicate allocation plans in the event of material shortages.

• Provide off hours material procurement and expediting support during storms and other emergencies.

• Interact with program management, construction, and business finance organizations regularly to identify forecast drivers, refresh assumptions, and build consensus.

• Maintain SAP planning parameters in alignment with forecasts that achieve target fill rate and inventory turnover performance.





Education

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in job related discipline or equivalent experience

Desired: Master’s Degree in job related discipline or equivalent experience



License/ Certification

Desired: APICS CPIM Certification



Experience

Minimum: Experience in supply chain, or related, 4yrs

Desired: Experience in supply chain, or related, 6yrs



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Desired:

• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.

• Knowledge of SAP ERP, APO, Oracle Demand Planning, or other software related to demand planning is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of lean six sigma concepts and tools is preferred.

• This position requires analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the material planning process.

• Strong Excel knowledge and experience, especially with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, General Formulas, Shortcut Keys
