Job Description
***Only qualified Logistics Project Professional candidates located near the Sacramento, CA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications:
• Extensive experience within logistics field
• Experience with optimization transportation routes and minimize transportation costs
• Experience with transportation regulations
• Experience with improvement of transportation efficiency and overall supply chain performance
• Prepare and present regular reports on transportation performance, cost savings, and optimization initiatives
Logistics Project Professional Summary:
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes and minimize transportation costs
• Monitor and analyze transportation utilization to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize capacity
• Collaborate with transportation providers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations
• Utilize logistics IT systems to track and analyze transportation data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and overall supply chain performance
