Overview: MOU Contract Managers

We are seeking experienced contractors to support the negotiation of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between Client and external county-based organizations (e.g., WIC agencies, Local Health Departments, IHSS agencies, etc.). Contractors will align negotiations with Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) MOU templates and Client established playbooks. Ideal candidates possess strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.



Responsibilities

• MOU Negotiation: Employ a provided playbook to negotiate MOU terms with county-based organizations, safeguarding Client interests and priorities.

• Redline Management: Accurately track changes to MOU documents throughout the negotiation process.

• Project Management: Utilize internal tools to document negotiation progress, key milestones, and status updates.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and align negotiation strategies. Build strong relationships with county-based organizations.

• Process Compliance: Adhere to established team procedures for consistent and efficient operations.



Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract or MOU negotiation, preferably within the healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in project management and tracking tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.



Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Client internal processes and systems.

• Experience working with legal or compliance teams.

• In-depth knowledge of DHCS regulations and policies.
