Job Description

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business OR Marketing
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Experience with product launches or integrated marketing campaigns.
• Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics.
• Highly detail-oriented, self-starter, independent worker with critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, build relationships, and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• 2-5 years of previous work experience in Marketing ora related field
• Deep knowledge of the Raleigh, NC market
Job Duties:
Develops marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
• Provides information and commentary pertinent to a campaign, recommends options and courses of action, and implements directives.
• Help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs; boots-on-the-ground promotional support for marketing plans and programs
• Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
• Areas of research include marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
• Contributes to team effort by fostering ideas targeting the demographic data of the target audience
Build Collaborative Relationships:
• Maintains relations with local partnerships by organizing and developing specific programs
• Build and maintain key strategic relationships with external market data vendors.
• Work closely with the Insights team to field customer research and apply learnings into actionable strategies
Consumer and Industry Insights:
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for the client.
• Proactively self-educate around retail and marketing industry trends to identify best practice opportunities for the client.
Marketing Consultant Overview:
• This role will contribute to the development of marketing solutions and campaigns for the Front Store Marketing team, with a concentration in the Price Value initiative in the Raleigh-Durham market.
• In this role, you will be the subject matter expert in the geographical region, including conducting local research and providing insights on how to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.
• You will play a vital role in being a corporate liaison with local managers and colleagues on behalf of the campaign, motivating & influencing participation, coordinating communications and collecting feedback.
• This role will work closely with many cross-functional partners including marketing, merchandising, consumer insights, etc.
