Job Description
***Only qualified Marketing Management Consultant candidates located near the Columbus, OH area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Education Requirements:

- Master's or MBA degree required

- A Bachelor's degree may be accepted with 7+ years of marketing within insurance field



Critical Digital and Marketing Technology Experience:

- Provides consultation to marketing strategy leads in regard to Marketing Cloud capabilities

- Minimum 5 years hands-on digital experience in email marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation and personalization tools, including campaign set-up, nurture methodology, and clear understanding of performance metrics

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud power user, specific experience with email, marketing cloud personalization, and journey builder

- Experience leading strategic approach to journey building, ensuring alignment with marketing or business strategies and best practices, as well as consultation with strategy leads regarding build within Salesforce Marketing Cloud

- Candidates must have a basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, and AMPscript to effectively manage and personalize email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud

- Demonstrated experience leading work with cross-functional teams to increase efficiency, automation and speed to market and helping to drive web and email personalization at scale

- Management or project leadership experience preferred



Marking Management Consultant Responsibilities:

- Utilizes core marketing competencies and knowledge to assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategy and action plans specifically on the web and via email within Marketing Cloud technologies

- Assists in the development and execution of digital experience strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business

- Coordinates effective execution of shorter-range, medium projects, as assigned

- Prioritizes, schedules, and coordinates resources within assigned projects



Strategic Connection:

- Assists in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business

- Synthesizes data and intuition on all areas of the business and leverages this understanding to support identification and innovation of business building solutions



Insights and Analytics:

- For assigned projects utilizes Customer Insights & Analytics experts and tools to understand and forecast market, competitor and customer needs and behavior, helps to define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and effectively drive results with data-based decisions

- Helps build a learning culture through coaching and participation



Branding:

- Guides and builds the brand within the level or area of responsibility, including the development and delivery of the On Your Side Experience to customers, driving customer value (solutions and experiences)

- Ensures consistency of the ''brand experience'' for all customers (end-users and intermediaries), considering company values and legal/compliance requirements

- Manages or assists in the development, testing and evaluation (via market metrics) of all marketing within area of responsibility

- Utilizes strong oral and written communication skills in presentations and communications



Organization Management:

- Strong project management capability. Guides and focuses project teams to accomplish specific goals, develops self and others; manages workflow and organizational planning



Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products, distribution systems, and customers

- Knowledge of project leadership concepts and methodologies



Note:

- This is a hybrid role. The selected candidate would need to work onsite in downtown Columbus 2 days per week. The remaining days can be remote

- The selected candidate will be covering for a full-time associate going out on maternity leave

- The first 60 calendar days will involve training under the direction of that associate
