Job Description
Our client is seeking a Network Support Analyst who will provide technical support for client operations environment. Must be able to work onsite in 6am-6pm Sunday-Tuesday & every other Wednesday onsite in O'Fallon, MO



Major Accountabilities:

• Analyze information to determine performance and areas of improvement.

• Test and verify the infrastructure to ensure it meets specifications and requirements

• Monitor and take corrective action for problems while minimizing customer impact.

• Create and/or update internal tickets to document monitoring and recovery steps.

• Perform routine maintenance procedures as required by policy or procedure.

• Maintain metrics as defined by management.



Knowledge / Experience:

• Candidate will require basic knowledge of routing/switching, tunneling, security operations/engineering, MPLS.

• Demonstrates ability to function in 2 of the 5 expertise areas in the OCC (Unix, Mainframe, Production Control, Debit, Network) and is proficient in 1 of the 5 OCC expertise areas. Is a subject matter expert in 1 of the 5 expertise areas of the OCC.

• Firewall experience

• Basic Unix scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, Batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology.

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

• People who have been exposed to Telecommunication related circuits, end to end circuit troubleshooting, etc.

• Effective problem/troubleshooting skills.

• Effective’ written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective organization and interpersonal skills.

• CCNA Certification or related training is highly preferred!



Work Conditions:

• Some on-call responsibility and occasional off hours work required.

• Work Shift: Shift: 6am-6pm Sunday-Tuesday & every other Wednesday
