Job Description
Education:

Required: High School diploma or GED

Preferred: High School diploma or GED, plus additional or specialized training and up to 4 years previous experience.



Requirements:

• Previous administrative experience.

• Strong Communication Skills- This role requires a candidate who can confidently communicate with various stakeholders throughout the day to address multiple needs and coordinate effectively.

• Multitasking and adaptability-The Operations Specialist should be adept at switching tasks and managing priorities, as they’ll handle a range of duties like data entry, filing, and working with compliance requirements.

• Attention to Detail- Precision in managing documentation, particularly with Driver Qualification files and compliance related tasks, is essential to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Excellent customer service support skills and experience

• Computer proficient and ability to manage time productively.

• Must be proficient with MS Office, and Excel skills.

• Experienced with data entry and creating reports.

• Customer service skills



Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic administrative professional to support departmental Managers, and assist in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, including recording, and reporting data in the solid waste service industry.



Responsibilities:

• Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues.

• Creates, distributes, and closes-out customer tickets on a daily basis.

• Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis.

• Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations and/or dispatch issues.

• Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager.

• Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor.

• Assists with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs.

• Assists with the processing of payments and other financial tasks as necessary.

• Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed.

• Communicates with customers about service issues as needed.

• Communicates with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed.

• May enter and maintain Service Machine SMART data on a daily basis.

• Approach all interactions with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
