• Supply Chain and Purchasing certification is a plus

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and material management.

• Experience should include purchasing materials and managing the lifecycle of procuring goods (not just project management – not looking for just a ‘Project Manager’).

• Required Tools:

o 3-5 years of experience with SAP (ERP tool).

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Deep understanding of procurement processes and supply chain lifecycle management.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience working on large capital projects, ideally in the oil/gas, energy, or utility sectors.



Overview (example): We are seeking a Procurement Manager to support the lifecycle management of materials and equipment for large capital projects.

Job Duties:

• Establish procurement strategies for equipment and materials, including work clothes, logistics, and engineering.

• Manage procurement of goods and services for the project.

• Lifecycle management: track status, report on progress, and ensure materials are procured efficiently.

• Regular meetings with suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and logistics.

• Oversee transportation logistics once materials are placed on-site.

• Interact regularly with engineering, project managers, and construction teams.

Industry (if applicable): Energy (Electricity & Natural Gas)

Travel (if required): Occasional construction site visits (1-2 times per month) – mileage is covered by client
