Job Description
Required Education:

• High School Diploma



Preferred Education:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or related field including policy writing experience

• Strong writing and editing skills to ensure clarity, accuracy, and conciseness in policies

• Analytics skills to research legal requirements and identify potential risks

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences

• Experience with process mapping and creating visual representations of workflows

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Experience working in a collaborative environment with global teams

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



Procurement Policy Writer Overview:

You will play a key role in revising and implementing Client's global spending policy and uncovering potential cost-savings initiatives.



Job Duties:

• Re-write of our global spend policy, ranging from minor edits to a complete document overhaul

• Connect independent documents to ensure consistency and clarity of messaging across all documents

• Develop process maps and create clear and concise presentations to effectively communicate policy changes to senior stakeholders

• Collaborate with and present new policy updates to key decision-makers and other business partners

• Actively track feedback for the revised policy and incorporate necessary adjustments/amendments

• Answer questions from internal teams regarding the new policy and its implementation

• Work effectively with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment with the updated policy

• Analyze spend data to identify untapped opportunities for productivity within new, unexplored areas



Special Details:

• This role is a 3-5 month project

• 40 hours per week

• Expected to work 9-5pm ET with flex hours before and after that to accommodate calls with a global audience
