Job summary
Client Worldwide Developer Relations is looking for a highly motivated Localization Producer to assist with creating, maintaining, and expanding the French Client Developer website (https://developer.client.com/fr/support/) and related marketing communications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about accurate translation and effective writing and possesses excellent interpersonal, prioritized, and communication skills. The candidate must be highly meticulous, meet required deadlines, and maintain industry-leading standards of quality.
Qualifications
Fluency in French (fr-FR)
Exceptional translation and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
Solid proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Able to think clearly and approach problems flexibly.
Proven ability to rely on own discernment and discretion to work independently, including the ability to organize, plan, and prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments at a time in creative and efficient ways.
Willingness to listen, challenge, and commit when taking on new assignments, and innovate down to the details when necessary.
Familiarity with WorldServer or similar translation software
Basic HTML editing, web production, and text processing skills
Familiarity with digital products and information technologies
Responsibilities
Localize technical marketing content
Translate urgent content
Review and edit vendor translations, provide constructive feedback, and improve localization quality
Work remotely with teams in France to review content
Work closely with engineering teams to test the website
Maintain style guides, translation memory, and a database of terms
Assist with miscellaneous web and email production projects - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
