We are looking for a Sundries Assistant who will bring support, clarity, organization and above all else, personality to our team of Product Developers. It is important to us this person has the energy and desire to aid in the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to produce manufacture ready products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the execution of all GTM calendar development activities to ensure deadlines are met.
• Create sundry S-codes & link colors in PLM system within a very tight deadline & on-going.
• Miro – able to proficiently navigate Miro to upload sundry photo & sundry details in Miro Sundry Library. Maintain accurate sundry info in Miro for designers to easily search sundry in digital world.
• Open packages, distribute & correspond to correct designers.
• Proficiently follow up on pending sundry submits & sundry approval comments with designers throughout the season.
• Maintain sundry briefs updates & organization in digital & hard copy.
• Track sundry development status in Excel & advise any late or pending submits to cross-functional team.
• Create & maintain sundry cost Track File in Excel.
• Well organize current seasonal submits in boxes & binders to easily retrieve submits under different divisions & categories.
• Organize suppliers catalogs & previous season sundry into cabinets & mini sundry library to efficiently pull reference submits.
• Maintain and manage data into various systems, such as PLM, to ensure integrity and accuracy of the information.
• Navigate & help maintain physical sundry library.
• Support Sundry Developers and Production team in any other activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of college education and related work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a position that required the manipulation of large amounts of data
• Must be well organized & detail-oriented!
• Basic sundry knowledge preferred, especially sundry related to Tops
• Garment production and/or product development experience preferred
• Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge and expertise
• Strong and effective relational and organizational skills; ability to work with multiple departments and personalities
• Takes initiative and accountability for their work and can work independently.
• Expert knowledge with PLM, Miro and MS Office applications including Word, Excel (vLookup, pivot table, etc) and Outlook
• Demonstrates the ability to learn new computer programs quickly
• Experienced in working at a rapidly changing, high growth environment while having to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
• Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in Client
