Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.



Preferred Education:

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required.



Preferred License/Certification:

• Certification in the operations of Powered Material moving equipment or the ability to achieve in 2 months.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Production, warehouse, Shipping/receiving/ Troubleshoot equipment



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Production process, Automated & Manual Assembly, and Material evaluation/validation



Job Overview:

Production Specialist I (PS1) This is the primary role in the production facility. The Production Specialist will eventually perform all aspects and duties in the facility. These duties entail both activities associated with “Inbound” and “Outbound” client deliverables. Inbound – The Production Specialist will receive inbound mail (including financial documents), prep the mail according to client requirements, and scan the mail which is uploaded into our Imaging repository. This is a critical production step in the life cycle of a document/check. Outbound - The Production Specialist receives materials, puts them away in the warehouse, sets up projects, operates production printers, operates intelligent inserters, and mails personalized materials on behalf of our customers.



Job Duties:

Inbound

• Responsible for setup, maintenance, and operation of the Inbound scanner in Inbound Operations. The PS1 will perform activities that require considerable judgment and initiative using established procedures and best practices.

• Assist management and colleagues in sorting all inbound mail, prepping the mail, and then scanning the mail on the Imaging Scanner.

• Also responsible for escalation of all production risks when identified.

• Consistently meet and exceed expectations and be the owner of all the work completed.

• Recognize, and resolve any discrepancies with the work or processes when encountered through thoughtful resolution, or escalation to senior experienced colleagues or management.

• Our requests for work and deliverables have a critical impact on our customers.

• There is a critical requirement to be excellent at time management that includes arrival time, and departure time in addition to how your time is utilized throughout the production day.

• Inbound Production Flow

• Receiving the inbound mail, and sorting the mail based on client.

• Prepping the mail based on client requirements defined.

• Scanning the mail on the Imaging scanner based on established standard operating procedures.

• Validation of materials, instructions, and delivery to assigned inbound production areas.



Outbound

• Responsible for setup, maintenance, and operation in one or more production areas in the facility. The PS1 will perform activities that require considerable judgment and initiative using established procedures and best practices.

• The role will include aspects and duties that encompass all production areas in the facility (Production Staging, Production Printing, Automated Assembly, Receiving, and Warehousing).

• Assist management and colleagues in pulling inventory, job setup, and production planning to fulfill the client deliverables.

• Escalation of all production risks when identified.

• Consistently meet and exceed expectations and be the owner of all the work completed.

• Recognize and resolve any discrepancies with the work or processes when encountered through thoughtful resolution, or escalation to senior experienced colleagues or management.

• Production Staging

• Production Staging is the preparation of printed output and inserts, gathering all components of the bill of materials for final assembly or as finished goods ready for shipping.

• Validation of materials, instructions, and delivery to assigned production areas.



Production Printing

• Operating high-speed print devices – setup, operate, finish, reconciliation, and light maintenance

• Cut Sheet Printers, Finishing Equipment, Cutters, Folders
