Job Description
Education Required:
• Bachelor’s in Public Health or Public Administration
• Master’s in Public Health or Public Administration (Preferred)
Experience Required:
• Public health: 3 years
• Epidemiology: 3 years
Skills Required:
• A thorough knowledge of biostatistical and epidemiological methods and their applications to public health planning activity
• A thorough knowledge of the techniques necessary for preparing and publishing statistical data; a working knowledge of electronic data processing (R or STATA)
• The ability to analyze health related data and evaluate the effectiveness of existing or proposed health programs
• Experience in producing effective reports for public health audiences, policy-makers and the public
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various agencies engaged in biostatistical activities and research
Job Description:
• Seeking a program evaluator who will be responsible for the ongoing evaluation of mental health programs.
• This position will be responsible for evaluating the Healthy Transitions 2 grant, the Early Diversion Grant, and the Public Attitudes Survey.
• This position will provide strategic and technical support to meet the goals and objectives of specific public health programs, in alignment with the departments’ mission and leading priorities.
• The position will plan, create, and manage evaluation data analysis, interpretation of analysis, and preparation of reports for both internal and external use.
• This position will evaluate and translate complex analyses into findings or conclusions and, if appropriate, recommendations that are concise and audience-specific through presentations, reports, and publications.
