Job Description
Required Education:
• Minimum Associate's degree required

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in the event planning industry
• Must be able to work on-site to assist with event coordination at the Miami marlins stadium. Also come into the Boca Raton office periodically
• Must be available to work most if not all weekends
• The location of the work will be a mix – Some weekend work (Sat/Sun) during home games in Miami in the Marlins stadium. Some Boca Raton in office work. And a possibility of some remote work. The contractor doesn’t necessarily need to live in Miami proper, but be okay driving there on a regular basis (the closer the better)
• Work 3-4 days during the work week to allow 2 days off a week which will vary based on the MLB baseball schedule

Job Duties:
• Leadership Meeting – May include research projects based on specific need/details. Examples: Source stage furniture, research specific swag, research centerpieces relevant to meeting/room, assist with creative element oversight – line items are being worked on/completed/sent to print/shipped, etc. (Typically, 75+ creative items to keep track of)
• Marlins— May include management of weekly reporting and promo item inventory, verifying staffing schedule, and maintaining activation
• Circle of Excellence – May include project management assistance, research assistance, and copy review
• NNO - May include weekly volunteer list requests and distribution, updating pre-event reporting, preparation for October NNO including updating collateral, and post event reporting
• Pop up Events – May include project management assistance, budget tracking assistance, sourcing promo items, research (destinations/venues/menus/activities/etc.), and assistance with shipping logistics for events
• Operations/Logistics – May include invoice management, Certificate of Insurance oversight, copy review, research and suggestions for improvement/recommendations
