Job Description
Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.



Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT or information management, with experience in public sector or election processes being highly desirable.

• Proven experience with project management, particularly in implementing technology solutions.



Skills:

• Proficiency in using and managing ZenDesk, Microsoft Teams, and various integration software.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and transform it into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.

• Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or similar certifications in project management or cybersecurity would be advantageous.



Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Manager to join the Client. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our election processes through expert management of information systems and data. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of technologies, possess strong project management skills, and have an understanding of election procedures and data governance.



Key Responsibilities:

Technology Management:

• Oversee and manage technology platforms including ZenDesk for customer service, Microsoft Teams for collaboration, and various integration software to ensure seamless data flow between different systems.

• Ensure all software and systems used within the department are up-to-date, secure, and compliant with state and federal regulations.



Data Integrity and Management:

• Develop and maintain data policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and accessibility for all election-related data.

• Work directly with county clients and election Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage and update documentation online, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the most current information.



Project Management:

• Lead projects related to IT infrastructure, system upgrades, and integration of new technologies into the election processes.

• Coordinate with IT teams to implement and troubleshoot solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to election operations.



Compliance and Security:

• Ensure all information management practices adhere to state laws, election regulations, and data protection standards.

• Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive election data against unauthorized access or breaches.



Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary liaison between IT, election officials, and county clients, providing support, training, and updates on system changes or new implementations.

• Present clear, concise reports and documentation to various stakeholders, including legislative bodies, on the status of election systems and data integrity.
