Responsible for user liaison, system specifications, systems design, analysis, and project control. May also interact with Analysts and Programmers through implementation phases and occasionally assist in programming effort. Provide key link between ultimate user and computing resource. Typically, possess five ten or more years' experience. Good communication skills are a must? Task oriented? Comfortable working with small to large scale projects? Seeks opportunities to excel and help others? Desire to grow with the company because this positions path will lead to other opportunities. Participate in and document planning and evaluation meetings? Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and other follow up documentation as needed? Able to juggle and prioritize numerous tasks from multiple projects in a fast-paced environment? Assisting and working with clients in data preparation? Ability to adapt quickly to changes in requirements and communicate to project teams? Interact with other project resources and coordinate resources when needed? Comfortable leading web and face-to-face training and meetings.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

• Responsible for ensuring timely processing of new requests for interconnection applications

• Collaborate with a team of advisers and analysts to facilitate the orderly application intake processes that enable generation customers to engage in contract negotiation having fulfilled all preliminary contractual and technical documentation.

• Manages all “business records” for assigned projects in accordance with Client policies; ensures that document libraries and databases are updated on a timely basis.



Required Skills/Attributes

• Three or more years of experience working in a business analyst role



Desired Skills/Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline.

• Experience documenting business processes, developing operating procedures, operating manuals, and job aids in support of business needs and controls.

• Experience with data management, business process management, business process management system implementation, etc.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to be customer focused in order to understand and appropriately respond to internal and external clients’ business needs.

• Experience interfacing effectively and collaborating with others, such as internal/external clients, peers, management, and other work units.
