Job Description
***Only qualified Quality Technician candidates located near the Tualatin, OR area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Seeking someone who has experience with PCBA troubleshooting (able to identify electronic components, identify directional polarity, etc.) , comfortable with rework of PCBA (soldering SMT and through-hole components).
- Proceed with product quality controls at each stage of the Manufacturing and Delivery according to Quality Management instructions.
- Produce quality measurement, potential diagnostics and if needed run contingency plan.
Experience Required
- < 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Realizes quality control operations for Products having medium complexity or Equipment, by choosing the appropriate tools.
- Ensure component conformity according engineering drawings, by managing incoming inspection & metrology activities inside the plant and ensure the safety of persons and property in the working area
- Define / upgrade standard inspection protocol according standard requirements: choose the right measurements equipment
- Support defect analysis in Rework area and rework PCBA’s as needed
- Record and understand defect trends and propose solution.
- Support production line with quality issues by addressing andons, driving corrective and preventive actions. Escalating to right stakeholders (Suppliers, QE/ SQE, etc.)
- Optimize inspection methodologies using Best Available Techniques & tools Support production
- Manage the calibration program of measurement equipment for the plant Secure the nonconformity management process execution
- Support the part qualification process (PPAP/ FAIR)
Key Systems Required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Quality improvement tools, techniques & models
