Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s (BS) degree in Chemistry

Preferred Education:
• Master’s degree in Chemistry

Experience:
• 0 -2 years’ experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation
• Good documentation practices (GDP) and familiarity with LIMS or equivalent systems
• Ability to manage tasks and prioritize effectively

Quality Lab Associate Responsibilities:
• Analyzing organic or inorganic compounds to determine properties using techniques like chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry
• Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory instruments
• Preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents
• Following lab safety protocols and monitoring operations for compliance
• Purchasing laboratory supplies and managing lab equipment
• Reviewing and logging samples, entering data into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• General housekeeping and maintaining a safe lab environment according to 6S principles
• Performing routine lab and safety audits
