Job Description
***Only qualified SAS Programmer Analyst candidates located near the Richmond, VA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Required Skills/ Experience:

• Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide, visual analytics for data analysis and reporting: 5 Years

• Experience with data architecture, data integration, data visualization, reporting, and process automation: 5 Years

• Experience with SAS (programming), R, PL/SQL: 5 Years

• Experience with Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server: 5 Years

• Experience with ETL tools, Business Analytics tools: 5 Years

• Demonstrated ability to design, develop and test solutions for complex solutions that meet user and agency requirements: 5 Years

• Development experience using Software Development Life Cycle methodologies: 5 Years

• Experience communicating verbally and in writing with technical colleagues and business users: 5 Years

• Experience providing accurate estimates of effort and duration to complete assignments: 5 Years

• Experience creating documentation to include technical design, flow diagrams, test results and user documentation: 5 Years

• Experience working with SAS scheduler: 1 Years

• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and software build automation in one or more platforms. (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline): 2 Years

• Experience with GIT version control software and GIT workflows: 2 Years

• Experience with Data Warehousing, ETL Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Modeling, Data Governance: 5 Years

• Experience with Production Support and issue resolution: 5 Years

• Experience with MongoDB: 2 Years

• Experience with SAS Viya: 1 Years

• Experience with SAS Administration: 1 Years

• Experience with Qlik Nice to have 1 Years

• Experience with Talend Nice to have 1 Years

• Working knowledge of JSON, XML, multi-schema files, parquet, etc.: 2 Years



The client is seeking an SAS Developer for Medicaid Care Management and Encounter Processing Solutions.



Responsibilities include:

• Identifying data sources and data elements to meet business requirements

• Creating and supporting automated data extracts and interface processes

• Creating extract files, reports, analytics dashboards

• Modifying existing processes to meet business requirements

• Designing, developing and testing solutions that meet complex business requirements

• Working with business users to understand requirements

• Working independently and collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, external agencies, CMS, VITA and vendors

• Working on multiple assignments concurrently and meet important target dates
