Job Description
Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.



Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in UX Design, with proficient skills in UX, interaction design, information architecture, usability evaluation, and user research.

• Familiarity and experience with Figma and Adobe suite.

• Experience with A/B testing and user research.

• Strong visual design skills.

• Experience building prototypes of varying fidelities.

• Experience designing consumer applications for mobile (desktop and web experience beneficial).



Preferred Skills:

• Experience planning and conducting user research and usability testing at various stages of the design process.

• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders.

• Creative problem solving and analytical thinking.

• Able to produce high quality creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to coordinate relationship with vendors; preparing specifications and obtaining estimates for final approval, and tracking spend.

• Able to handle copyright, reprint, permission, processes & organization of purchased images and collateral.

• Combined skills in 2 of 3 of the following: User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design.

• Experience designing consumer applications for mobile, but desktop and web preferred.

• Knowledge and enthusiasm for auto / DIY is preferred.



Overview (Senior UX/UI Designer):

Senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for a set of activities including conducting initial user research, driving a solution vision based on business and user insights, designing desirable and intuitive multi-channel experiences, developing wireframes and visual designs, and iteratively validating solutions with users. Individual designers may not possess all skills but should demonstrate deep expertise in 2 or more areas.



Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing end to end user experiences from logged out, registration and logged in product experience.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers to improve the user experience.

• This includes participating in workshops, design reviews and facilitating the team to solve problems and reach the teams goals.

• Adapt your design process to the needs of each project, creating journey maps, flow diagrams, wire frames, prototypes, visual mock-ups, etc. as needed for both solutioning and communication.

• Navigate a fast-paced Agile environment requiring both self-direction and team collaboration.

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify future improvements and design changes.

• Contribute to design team initiatives such as design system, user research and AI initiatives.
