***Only qualified Engineering Software Consultant candidates located near the Atlanta, GA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Competent in the use of MS Office suite – (5 years)
• Experience in developing technical documentation – (2 years)
• Experience working in an Architectural or Engineering environment – (5 years)
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience using/supporting document management systems such as Bentley ProjectWise – (2 years)
• Experience developing training materials and conducting training sessions – (2 years)
• Experience providing customer support – (2 years)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow
The client is seeking to hire an Engineering Software Consultant to assist and lead in the support and implementation of engineering software. Under general supervision, they combine strong technical skills with knowledge of the database administration. Works on one or more projects of high complexity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist personnel in the implementation of new engineering software
• Serve as one of the Administrators for the Engineering Document Management system (Bentley ProjectWise)
• Support the electronic file exchange tool (Bentley ProjectWise Deliverables Management) for internal and external staff
• Provide day to day user support
• Assist in maintaining the Engineering Software standards and documentation
• Develop/conduct engineering software user training sessions
• Document/revise existing and new business processes to meet new/revised engineering software requirements
• Develop engineering software best practices
• Investigate new and emerging engineering technology and make recommendations to personnel and management for implementation
