Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
• 10 years of experience with enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, working with data warehouse and d13 years of experience in J2EE technologies, JavaScript, and JSP.
• 13 years of hands-on experience in Front-End/UI Development on the J2EE platform.
• 13 years of strong SQL query writing skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• 13 years of experience in application development using Tomcat Server and web services.
• 8 years of experience in developing comprehensive data validation and data quality checks.
• 8 years of experience in developing technical documentation.
• 8 years of experience designing and developing SQL scripts for Snowflake.
• 8 years of analytical and problem-solving skills as a system analyst for data analytics, performance management systems, or data warehousing projects.
• 8 years of technical writing and diagramming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project.
• 8 years of experience on an agile sprint team.
• 8 years of experience with JIRA software.
• Proven experience in business analysis with a focus on TIERS data (CHIP & Medicaid data) for healthcare services.
• Experience integrating Tableau dashboards within web-based applications.
• Data governance technologies.
• 8 years of excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Understanding of security principles and their application to healthcare data.
• Experience with state-of-the-art software components for performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments.
• Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry.
• Prior experience with an HHS agency.
• Prior experience working with PII or PHI data.
• Functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.).

Position Overview:
HHSC IT is continuing to develop an HHS data integration hub with the goal of implementing and configuring the infrastructure, designing, developing, and implementing the hub using agile methodology, and providing ongoing operations support and enhancement.

Responsibilities:
• Lead an agile development team through the project lifecycle.
• Acquire data from various sources for multiple uses.
• Develop complex SQL scripts to transform source data into a dimensional model, creating views and materialized views in Oracle.
• Automate data acquisition using Informatica Power Center/IICS.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering Team on optimal data design.
• Verify and validate SQL scripts, Informatica automation, and database views.
• Develop automated verification and validation methods.
• Participate in all sprint ceremonies.
• Work closely with Architects and the Data Engineering Team on implementation designs and data acquisition strategies.
• Develop mockups and validate with customers.
• Address technical problems with team members.
• Assist with the implementation and configuration of developmental tools.
• Produce and maintain technical specifications, diagrams, and other documentation.
• Participate in requirements and design sessions.
• Interpret new and changing business requirements, proposing enhancements and changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
