Job Description
The IT Project Senior Manager accomplishes results through the management of projects contributing to the goals and key results of the Regulatory and Strategic Delivery. Sets and holds standards around which others will operate and requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince colleagues and partners. Has responsibility for planning, gaining consensus and execution of RSD initiatives and projects.



Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years’ experience in a related technology or project/program role

• Proficiency in LightSpeed Enterprise, ability to understand architecture diagrams

• Knowledgeable in CI/CD delivery of applications

• Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.)

• Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude in communicating with senior management

• Strategic thinker & proven ability to work concurrent assignments and deliver high quality work within strict deadlines

• Effective skills to influence & negotiate



Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial Services or Banking Technology knowledge is preferred



Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience



IT Project Senior Manager Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

• Interfaces with senior project staff and senior management teams regarding status of projects.

• Recommends and oversees process improvements.

• Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and standards.

• Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of project leadership.

• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., Business Execution, HR, Talent & Development) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.

• Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.

• Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

• Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
