Job Description
Required Skills:
12 years Minimum of IT experience
• 8+ Years in WebSphere administration
• 2+ years in cloud products administration
• 5+ Years with application security product administration
• 5+ Years Experience administering Integration platform.
• 5+ Years experience working with government agencies.
• 5+ Years of providing comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.
• 3+ Years of providing guidance, consultation with IT management and technical staffs regarding the use of emerging technologies

Preferred Education:
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study

Job Responsibilities:
· Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows operating system and system administration tasks
· Highly available vertical / horizontal scaling, disaster recovery capabilities
· Single Sign On, network load balancer, firewall, IP subnets.
· On-Prem monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace,
· Cloud monitoring capabilities like AZURE Monitor
· CI/CD pipelines: Ansible, Jenkins, Nexis, Avin, Bitbucket etc.)
· Version control subsystem like: Git, Subversion, etc.
· Storage subsystem
· Salesforce
· Knowledge of application development, implementation, and deployment experience.
Web services and data integration techniques, messaging and transformation.
· Lead experience to create design documentation and participate in code reviews with application teams.
· Strong troubleshooting experience to research production issues including cryptography(digital certificates), networking, IBM MQs, Databases.
· Develop and troubleshoot message translation issues integrating with backends (JSON to SOAP/SOAP to JSON)
· Experience with developing pass-through and transformative API extensions

Skills:
· Experience performing system and software audits.
· Assesses and analyzes business requirements, current state environment and technology choices to evaluate security solution alternatives that meet solution architecture needs and support enterprise requirements.
· Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills related to Cloud, IAM and privileged access management.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, on both technical and non-technical topics
· Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure that project deliverables and deadlines are met.
· Advanced root cause analysis and written and verbal communications skills.
· Experience supporting and participating in 24 X7 on-call weekly rotation.
· Experience handling and reacting to infrastructure alerts reacting quickly.

Communicating:
· Communicate with clients, assisting them with their needs to ensure client satisfaction. Communicate the deployment/release schedule, release artifacts, priorities, and status to all stakeholders.
· Coordinate releases with internal stakeholders.
· Champion best practices and quality standards.
· Participate in functional and technical meetings throughout the development lifecycle.

Abilities:
WebSphere
· Perform upgrades, patches, and fix security issues.

Job Description:
· Monitor application performance, system performance, troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement fixes.
· Work closely with the development teams to design solutions, deploy and maintain application.
· Install, configure and deploy new WebSphere application servers on AIX and Linux
· Write and deploy shell scripts, automate tasks.
· Experience with one or more webserver setup Apache, IBM Http Server and IIS
· Experience working with SSL and application security in WebSphere.
· Troubleshoot, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
· Participate in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies.
· Experience administering integration platforms like Salesforce – MuleSoft.

Technical Advisor:
· Experience collaborating and advising application teams to build API capability, covering aspects such as security and policy management.
· Ability to understand systems and application code to troubleshoot and provide guidance to app dev teams.
· Experience providing consultation services working with System administrator’s internal platform and middleware groups to provide application software development services or technical support.
· Provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.
· Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs using standard development methodology.
· Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.
· Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services.
· Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies.
· Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions.
· Design and develop automated stress testing harnesses, recommend, and implement solutions, conduct and participate in code review sessions, and provide process improvements

Cloud Management:
· Work knowledge of cloud platforms Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
· Deploy and manage application in a cloud environment.
· Work with cloud vendors and cloud hosting service providers and recommend infrastructure solutions.
· Experience deploying Containers, Microservices, Kubernetes, etc. both in on-prem and cloud.
