Job Description
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.







Required Qualifications/Skills:



· Produce various Honda and Acura automobile parts & service related publications (including service/parts information bulletins, accessory installation instructions, etc) based on input from requestors throughout the corporation.



· Produce all service information with zero errors (100% quality).



· Managing creation and review/approval processes to complete assignments by assigned date.



· Excellent technical writing and editing, including grammar, punctuation, and style.



· A meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail.



· Excellent schedule coordination and communication.







Preferred Qualifications/Skills:



· Basic automotive technical knowledge is required, but auto repair experience is a plus.



· Asks questions and interacts well with others, including technical writers and SMEs.



· Maintaining high-quality work under pressure of deadlines.



· Coordinating multiple projects at one time.



· Cross department support as needed.







Technical Writer Overview:



The Technical Writer is a professional who is responsible for writing and editing Honda and Acura automobile parts & service related publications, including service/parts information bulletins, accessory installation instructions, etc. This includes creating content for various requestors throughout the corporation; therefore, they must be able to work with diverse input in order to create high-quality content that best serves the audience.
