Job Description
Education:

• High School Diploma and some trade experience required.



Job Overview:

• Uses schematics, oscopes/oscilloscope, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to adjust, repair, maintain, and test electronic equipment.

• Needs prior 2-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices down to component level.

• Prior SMT experience a must.

• May perform as a Bench Technician (Tech I).

• Also may translate into lateral position as a Service Tech that will assist end users with troubleshooting via phone and/or e-mail.



Listing hard requirements for the role:

o Troubleshoot semi-automated Process Equipment electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components.

o Read and markup Process Equipment electrical schematics.

o Create and understand Process Equipment pneumatic schematics.

o Construct and modify Process Equipment electrical panels.

o Construct and modify Process Equipment mechanical sub-assemblies.



List any preferred requirements that would stand out on a resume:

o Experience working in a regulated industry, preferable within a medical device or pharmaceutical company.



Years’ of experience required – 5 years minimum

• Daily tasks/duties and department interactions: Construct, modify and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and their control panels. Perform preventative maintenance procedures as required.
