Purpose of the Position:
• The Training Instructor is responsible for creating and delivering training for their client group as identified in the training plan.

Position Accountabilities:
• Assessing individual/group training needs Planning, preparing and researching lessons Teaching locomotive facility staff to use various computer applications (LMUI, Nexus, SAP, RPM, etc..) Organizing and promoting courses Developing and delivering course curriculum Spending contact time with employees on an individual and group basis Checking and assessing employees'' progress and giving feedback Following up and compiling status progress for senior management.

General Knowledge about Locomotives
• Above average communication and Interpersonal skills with client groups and unions Administrative skills Management and leadership skills Organization and efficiency Analytical and technical skills The ability to motivate others A patient and friendly approach to teaching Experience delivering training/course in an industrial/factory setting.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and convert to easily understandable terms.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft suite programs, Excel, Word, Power Point, able to create modify, and update reports for presentation to senior management.
• Extensive on site presence required. Must be able to travel for 2 weeks at a time.
• Hold a valid driver license
• Presentation, facilitation and management skills Able to utilize Microsoft office (Power Point, Word, Excel) Bilingual Spanish/English required
